LATEST EVENTS

Since reopening after the lockdown, we are open on a Monday for lunch (previously we had closed Monday lunchtime) and we have extended our kitchen hours.

We currently have our gazebo area outside and we shall be changing this again for the autumn.

It has certainly been good to get back to it and we hope to see you soon!

Wines and Ales

The Stone Jug serves five real ales, two regular and three guest pumps.  Our regular ales are Otter Amber and St Austell's Trelawny. Many of our guest ales are from local breweries and we are very keen to promote and support micro-breweries. As we are a Freehouse, our ales for our three guest pumps are sourced from near and far.  Some you may be familiar with and others you may not have tried at all.  The guest ales that are currently on are posted to The Stone Jug's Facebook page, so you can always keep tabs on what's available.

Our draught products include Becks Vier, Stella, Fosters, Bud Light, Stowford Press cider and we also stock Weston's Old Rosie cider - not for the faint hearted at 7.3% abv!

We have a selection of wines available, both by the glass and for those that like to share, by the bottle.  We also keep Prosecco in stock, again by the bottle or single serve 1/4 bottles.

award

We have been awarded North Bedfordshire Pub of the Year on several occasions by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and are proud to be recognized for this.
